Preparing is key. When you think about engagement sessions, we love when couples choose a location/theme that is represents them. Maybe it involves a vineyard, or even maybe your hometown, or even the beach. What ever suits you best. It is also helpful to think about your attire as you plan for your session. Once you have chosen a location, think about if it matches your attire. 

Timing It is generally good to book your session at least one month in advance. when you plan out the timing for the session think about what you want to use them for. Save the dates, invitations, or just for you? The will help with a time frame of when the need to be completed by. Summer and fall are wonderful seasons for pictures- but winter sessions sure are fun too! 

Shooting First and foremost, engagements sessions are supposed to be FUN! A lot of people haven't had their pictures professionally taken since senior year. We want you to feel comfortable, look natural and enjoy your time with us Gorman photography.
